"Waiting." "For what?” ”Family.” “You don’t have one.”
This Day in Disney History
June 20, 1976: Disney’s River Country, their first water park, opens on the shores of Bay Lake.
This water park was designed to look like something right out of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. There were several water slides and different swimming and play areas. One short slide even dropped you into the pool from a height of about 7 feet!
Unfortunately, River Country is no longer open, but is a fun memory of simpler times.

Kids these days. They just don’t get scared like they used to.
I cannot say what loves have come and gone
I only know that summer sang in me
A little while, that in me sings no more. (x)
